Want to respond quicker in Google Drive? Drive now supports web notifications in Chrome when files are shared with you, or access to your files is requested. This will help you keep up with what is happening in your Drive. There are a few things you need to be aware of with this new feature:
Watch for a message in the bottom left of your document list with a link to enable the feature.
You can also turn notifications on/off by going to your Drive settings and selecting Notifications. You’ll be given three options to choose from. Pick the types of notifications you want to receive and click Done.
