UPDATED JAN 8: Google has announced that this change will begin rolling out to Apps for Education users around January 20.
NOTE: The following update will NOT affect most UMICH users. If you typically log in via email.umich.edu, calendar.umich.edu or docs.umich.edu you won't see a change. If you log in via google.com, you are already seeing the new Google login page (see screenshot below). If you log in via mail.google.com/a/umich.edu (or similar) this change will affect you.
The new Google Apps sign in will give users a consistent experience from anywhere they log in to Google and will better protect against phishing attempts. Note that if presented with this new interface, you will have to enter your full email address (firstname.lastname@example.org). You do not need to enter your UMICH password. You will then be redirected to U-M's standard Weblogin page where you can sign in as you normally would. This change is expected to launch to Google Apps for Education users in early 2014. Additional information will be posted when the roll out date is confirmed.
